LITTLE ROCK – Republican State Representative Keith Brooks has officially announced his re-election campaign for House District 78.
Keith, a principled conservative who was first elected in 2020, is proud to be a fierce and consistent advocate for putting students and families first through education freedom, strongly pro-life and a supporter of tax relief for hardworking Arkansans. He has previously received the endorsement of Arkansas Right to Life, as well as the Family Council Statesman Award and an A+ rating from Americans For Prosperity.
During the 2023 legislative session, Keith, who currently serves as Vice Chair of the House Education Committee, was the lead House sponsor of Governor Sarah Sanders’ signature LEARNS Act legislation. The bill, SB294, passed both chambers in overwhelming fashion.
“It is an honor to represent the people of House District 78 in the Arkansas State Legislature. We have accomplished so much together over the last four years, from establishing Arkansas as the most pro-life state in the country to passing the largest and most impactful education reform bill in Arkansas’s history. We’ve cut taxes, rolled back regulations, and made public safety a priority. Together, we’re turning Arkansas into the best place to call home – but we’re not finished yet. I am asking for your support once again to continue this important work as your state representative.”
Keith is a native Arkansan and the owner of an insurance agency in Saline County. He is a graduate of Harding University in Searcy, where he also received his Masters in Business Administration (MBA). He and his wife, Jenny, have three beautiful children. He has served as a non-profit volunteer in Saline County advocating for children with special needs and those with significant learning delays. Rep. Brooks is an avid outdoorsman and hunter, and he is a member of the Benton Chamber of Commerce. In addition to serving as Vice Chair of the House Education Committee, Keith also serves on the House Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs Committee.
