Aug 3 at Noon – Aug 10 at Noon – Candidate filing for the Nov School Election and Mayor-Council form of Government (this is how our cities are set up).
Oct 9 – Deadline to apply to register to vote in the General Election & Annual School Election
Oct 24 – Early voting begins for General Election between the hours of 8:00 am-6:00 pm, Mon – Fri, and 10:00 am-4:00pm on Sat. Early voting ends at 5:00 pm on the Mon prior to the election.
Oct 24 – First day a designated bearer to pick up from the county clerk’s office a maximum of two (2) absentee ballots for the General Election.
Nov 1 – Deadline for county clerk to receive absentee ballot applications by mail, fax, or email for the General Election & Annual School Election
Nov 4 – Deadline for the county clerk to receive county to county transfers of registered voters allowed to vote in the General Election.
Nov 4 – Deadline for county clerk to receive in-person applications for absentee ballots for the General Election & Annual School Election.
Nov 6 – Deadline to apply to register to vote in the General Runoff Election, if held.
Nov 7 – Last day for a voter to participate in early voting. Early voting closes at 5:00 pm on the Mon before the election.
Nov 8 – General Election & Annual School Election, polls open 7:30 am – 7:30 pm
Nov 29 – Early voting for general election runoff, open 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Dec 2 – Deadline to receive county to county clerk transfers for the General Runoff Election.
Dec 2 – Deadline for county clerk to receive in-person applications for absentee ballots for the General Runoff Election & Annual School Runoff Election.
Dec 5 – Last day for early voting for the general election runoff.
Dec 6 – General Runoff Election & Annual School Election Runoff, if applicable – polls open 7:30 am – 7:30 pm.
